I acquired acapellas via Propellerhead Reason’s subsidiary, the now-defunct Allihoopa platform. The platform gave users permission and access to remix exclusive vocals from various artists. While learning Reason’s DAW, I remixed five acapellas as I became accustomed to the layout of the digital audio workstation.
As the Multimedia Content Producer, my role in the projects below involved re-editing videos or taking scripts and transforming them into compelling visual narratives. For scripts, I begin by creating detailed storyboards that align with the client’s platform or website, ensuring the visual flow complements the story. I source the appropriate images, videos, and media assets to compliment the script and maintain a cohesive look and feel throughout the project. Additionally, I managed the process of hiring additional video editors and voiceover talent to match the tone and style of the content. My goal is to deliver a seamless, engaging final product that meets the client’s creative vision and technical requirements. *Only thumbnails are active.

The memories I have of being a part of this album are truly priceless. I’m listed as the drum programmer on the album but I really thought I would get Co-Producer credits. I actually purchased my Akai MPC 3000 with the proceeds from this album. Big ups to Ini Kamoze & Cippo for taking me under their wings all whilst having a number-one record on the reggae & pop charts in this country and others.
The Lyrical Gangsta album was recorded during and after the #1 Pop & Reggae record – “Here comes the Hotstepper” produced by Salaam Remi.
