  • Season 7 Ep.707 –

This PBS piece is an important documentary for Hip Hop, so I felt compelled to address a misquote (better now than never). At the end of the show, the host stated that I thought hip-hop was started by Kool Herc, when in fact I share the same viewpoint as Greg Nice (also in the documentary) regarding hip-hop’s origins in the Bronx. I understand where the breakdown in communication occurred—but it aired! I really love how the documentary came together as a whole—very professional.
